I don't have many options to make "choices" in my own life now..

But for you.. I think you could follow your dreams.

Maybe since it is a hobby for you.. start off working with it in your spare time... work your way up till you are doing well enough to know that you can quit your other job.. just a thought.

I believe everything happens for a reason so when your thoughts begin to consume you for another "passion"; there must be a reason why? When we give it over to God's power, He shows us the way to go and will "open doors" for us if we will only ask Him.  He has opened many for me.

what you need is a mastermind team...anybody on that team is there to help you achieve that goal and be realistic in obtaining it ....points to conisder:

1.  do you have at least 6 months wages in savings?

2.  what would it cost to set up this business?

3.  have you talked to others who are doing or something similar?

4.  what is the economic situation in your city?

5.  what do you know about running a business of your own as far as gov't requirements and licenses?

6.  Can you run it alone or do you need workers?

7.  can you do this business part time and still keep yoiur other job until you become semi established?

these are just for starters .....i dont know where you live but if you want to talk more about it....let me know

I think almost everyone may be able to say, when their final breath draws near, that there was at least one or two things they would liked to have done or accomplished before it was all over ( now referred to as a "bucket list" ). But you can still be satisfied over the things you did accomplish. As far as quitting your job to pursue a dream, that's a tough one. I think it would depend on if you're able to do a slow transition. In other words, do what you can toward that goal, but still be able to pay those pesky bills we all have. It can . . . and will be . . . a tough balancing act!

Would You Quit Your Job to Follow Your Dreams?

Well you make good sense when you say are you really happy with your life and what you are doing at the present time, or is there something else that keeps haunting your mind and will never go away. It is a miserable feeling not doing what you love and have a passion to do, what you should do is maybe use your savings to live on until you accomplish your goals, and make sure you have good resources to deal within your reach, then I say go for it!

I wonder if you wouldn't be better served to pursue your dream a bit at a time until you were able to take it on full time and still be able to support yourself! I have no regrets because I have had a good life! sam
