I am not too keen on mice either.

The waves of mice must have been frightening. I can see why you want them to go now! Mr. G seems more than willing to accomodate.

Kabu

My poetry outlets for reading and talk have been with family but also not with classmates except one from my first local college dropped in on the coffeehouse here but never in New York. That’s because the pizzeria, coffee shops, and Starbucks work best even a good deli love. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

I hope Mr Graysome gets his prize, some times my Crybe will leave one of her catches on the front porch as her way of paying rent I suppose.

Kabu

I once had a white mouse who lived mainly in my pocket, 'cause that's where I kept his food. His name was Hieronymouse, and he was very nice. He had the run of the house, and got into all kinds of things, but usually came back. Sometimes he got into the garbage...One day he just disappeared, and we suspect that he got into the garbage on the wrong day, and was accidentally taken out in a garbage can! A sad end for a wonderful little mouse...

I don't like being startled by mousies or other little critters.

Don't even mind snakes if I see them first, but I prefer any of them at a distance.

LOL - so who, in your opinion, is the best mouser -Wiley or Mr. G.? I have little field mice here too. I think they're cute...but not when sharing my space! I woke one morning to find a dead one beside Grump...he had killed it during the night then just left it there. Maybe he and Mr. G. could become hunting buddies....

I haven't seen a mouse since I lived in a house.
I have been apartment dwelling for twenty-five years and have not seen one mouse.
Why do apartments not have mousies?

That used to drive "B" absolutely crazy - when my cat would bring in a mouse but not kill it (chase it around instead).  I remember one day "B" running around the house like a maniac with a broom trying to kill the mouse whereas I quite calmly grabbed a paper towel, waited until the mouse had settled into a corner, and grabbed it.  Fast forward several months and the cat went to a rural home where it could "play" with mice as much as it wanted to.  It became a choice between my marriage or the cat - I picked "B".  LOL

Well Kabu my sister caught 4 in her shed so she made her hubby drive a couple of miles up the road and throw them in the ditch. I sometimes see a little sharp nosed one not a house mouse a shrew he lives by the bird feeder. I just ignore him or field mice or voles. Gnomes get a kick up the pants

Once, in a dark room, I heard the snap of a trap; saw another mouse

trying to pull its captured buddy from the trap. Amazing sight!
