I love your picture place.  I visit it quite often.

Naut, I was itchin' to take pictures of something!

And it was cold in that truck, waiting for the ice to melt so I could see to drive.  They were so pretty against the dawn sky...

Yeah, camping in my son's driveway, I can plug in, but the small heater isn't up to this kind of cold.  I can get it up to around 5C, and pre-warm the bedding, but it reminds me of pioneer stories, going from dressed to jammied, from freezing room, to toasty bed.

I can also run the engine for a while, to use the heater up front--it is very effective, but for various reasons I don't like resorting to that.

Pat,

I remember those... all kinds of fractal art being played with, some very lovely stuff!

Both, Bill--

Tea and cheese, Bill--tea and cheese! Preferrably melted over toast, the cheese.

Kabu, I do have an electric blanket.

And I have a plug-in at my son's house, so it works!  Out on the road, it wouldn't be so cozy--warming the bed for an hour before I climb in, staying toasty all night.

Love those pictures! I've often had that kind of ice frosting my windshield, but it takes the artist's eye to really notice their beauty...And yes, I've been wondering how you'd do in your RV in the cold of winter...Brrrrr...

You're right, the windshield's beautiful.

All those fractal shapes remind me of the geometric program that went all over the web back in the '80s. Kind of the basic building block of the universe and everything in it. I didn't realize there was to be an eclipse, but we've had 3 nights of extreme moonlight this week. It is gorgeous.

ooh that is cold in the RV. do you have a thermal blanket to

snuggle under...or a real feather duck down cover..... how beautiful the crystal shapes read, as I sip my morning coffee.
