It actually did turn the Australian way this season with some trampling and deaths, but a few great bargains for the stout of body and heart.

I don't get the name either for it feels like disaster, and with the maddening crowds perhaps that why it is called as such! sam

The only place I went shopping was to the hardware store to buy a couple of things I needed.  When I got home, I realized I forgot to buy one of the two things on my list.

S.A.(Shopping Avoidance) is the policy here, any day of the year.!

I absolutely hate doing it.

Wow, I never shope Black Friday... It is too mad. I love your friend story. Do stores still deliver purchases to your home in Australia? That was a thing in the past here, no more. Sure hope you are haveing a great day today and all days.  Love ya,

I tend to associate black with bad events as well. I remember in school that we learned the day the Great Depression started is called Black Tuesday. I used to think that Black Friday was tied into that somehow.

I, too, associate "black Friday" with some kind of disaster.

Never was really math-oriented. I suppose if we follow this logic, then January 1, instead of being Day 1 of the Happy New Year, it would be Red Monday (or whatever). Which has its own connotations. Good for your friend, feeling a new lease on life at 85. Woo! Hoo!

I wondered what they were on about Kabu  I did after prompting by Arthur manage to grab one one on Amazon. Little rat said if I didn't like it he would take it for half price.
