Re: Tell me how you fared with the bic lighters.
Oddly enough, Straightforward, I couldn't persuade my son to go the non-candy-handout route. He and his housemates opted for the traditional, but only had 4 callers through the evening.
I guess they heard we weren't giving out the lighters.

hahaha...Bic Lighters. But, but, but...there's a "no burning" order here at the moment because of the dryness due to lack of rain. Son #3 put out a basket of candy and a basket of onions to see what the kids would take. One little girl actually took a big onion and put it in her bag.
