I wish my flowers looked that good! The Texas heat is killing them.

Sounds exciting anyway, even if the food was bad at times and the accomodations cramped. Idyllic sounds good too. You had good parents and became one.

You do have lovely wide open spaces Kabu. What could be better than just idly cutting the green grass. Excuse me for wondering, but what amenities did you have in those days or was it spade work Sealed envelope will suffice. I remember when we stayed in a caravan stationary, but a poor sanitation service,

It sounds like some fun trips
I wonder if powdered milk is any better now? Perhaps it would have been better if it was cold... can't imagine having to drink it warm.

Having internet has changed me. You can sit in your chair and go anywhere in the world and see anything--nature, historic buildings, festivals, culture,.... If you plan ahead, you can even order foods from around the world, fine wines, cheeses,.... anything....all while you are comfortable and without spending money.

Something in our nature every so often seeks a change of pace.
I spent a week in Arizona desert country once, couldn't wait to get back to rain-soaked overcast Seattle.

Cold organic powdered milk is good - just like fresh. I use it all the time to save trips to the store and the rising cost of fresh milk.
