Perhaps it would be better if folk could ask discretely of an empowered agency if they were worried as to the crime statistics in a given area. Don't really know

it is good to share information....so about the Gnomes....So long as they
stay where I put them after I find out all the information for my history, then they are welcome to stay!
the fact is while the World falls apart i am a silly old lady writing a History of the Gnome....you know, Something really important!
