There is too much money at stake for them to forego a season! I believe they are close to a deal! The one thing I like about the new deal is the cap on rookie salaries! That means that Cam Newton will not get anything close to what Bradford got from the Rams! The salaries are outrageous as well as the profit margin for the owners! I believe more families could go if the prices were a bit more reasonable! I am amazed at the impact the offshoot has on local businesses, too! It makes sense because when folks are drawn to an event they invariably spend money everywhere! I hope the games go on because I know this is a favorite activity of yours which I joyously envy! sam

Interesting. I had not thought of how this might impact a car wash business.

Re: lustorlove
They have most things settled but have a few more things to work out. From what I have read things are still on target for being agreed to in the next few business days.

Terrifying that the difficulties of the NFL can affect so many businesses, never mind what it does to the fans.

I'm so glad that you don't think any of the football games will be kept from being played. We don't need stuff like this happening. I surely do hope you are right.

It is always the same in business, FS. One has to grin and bear it. Keep an eye on your Dad.

Sport has become all about money so it seems to me and i like
your refreshing attitude that you shrug off the loss of revenue if there is a game on.

K An interesting angle to the NFL checkmate. I never thought how it would affect the car wash business. Of course people drive to the stadium. Now the NFL will drive your father crazy. Be there for him. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
