HEavy rain does not go well with just planted delicate plants... but she will be OK... how can she not with someone as loving as you caring for her :-)  I used to place umbrellas over my roses during summer storms down here... not a good idea though when its windy too I found out  loll  Be well Kabu... xoxoxo

You will bring it around.  You have what it takes--a green thumb and a tender heart.

Hydrangeas are persistent. They endure.
Much like former Aussie nurses who gamble on love.

There is so much need for that rain in the lower 48. Looks like C.C. had some good advice for you. Sounds like a lovely flower. Be blessed sweet lady and don't over work, I am sorry your garden was disturbed so. Be blessed.

Buy another one Kabu keep it in your porch put it out on nice days until it becomes tougher. Think of it as a baby it has probably come out of a Nursery  Or trim the other one up give it a drop of fertilizer not too strong  and protect it with twigs for a while. Please do not repair it with string.
