There was a similar trail going on in this district at the same time - that of the doctor who stabbed his two little children after learning that his wife was cheating on him with his best friend. He was found criminally irresponsible by the jury, a verdict which resulted in a flurry of angry disagreement by the public, mostly fueled by the media, as in the case of your post. I would not want to be on either of those juries!

Now that the "Not Guilty" verdict is in, I'm still wondering, like many others, "if the death was accidental, why would you go to the trouble to make it look like a murder?"

Hasn't this all been something!  All I know for sure is that little girl was absolutely darling and that whatever happened to her was terrible-horrible.  I can so feel for that grandmother of the little one.  Her life must be a shambles right now with everything that has happened.  I would sure hate to be on that jury.
