It is important to let go of past bad experiences or they become heavy and expensive baggage  to the person involved.

Are you entering the Cheerful, happy, and laughter-filled poetry challenge’, if so please give me a link to any poem you write or have written to do with cheerful or happy things and I will post the link on my blog on the 10th to bring people to you to click on the link and see it. Here is a link to the one last month that you entered I know I enjoyed it and others did too.  Have a great day. :)

I think sooner or later some go through this syndrome Tzippy, it takes courage too to overcome it.

Tzippy
I agree, 'letting go' of emotional pain is very important, and probably one of the necessary preconditions for 'healing'...

It's one of my afflictions but over the years I have learned to get out of it sooner so that it is less invasive, but invasive nonetheless! sam

My heart goes out to those dealing with PTSD. So much pain the people feel.

great post darling and I am glad if my words inspired you to write this.
Of course I agree with you PTSD....from some truly horrific and on going trauma that one is not equipped to handle nor is expecting.....(Like Wiley picking up body parts when he wasn't even 20 or equipped), but I also agree that sometimes one can be kept off drugs by careful councelling and yes encouraging someone to be the person that they are meant to be. Sending you a big hug.

Beautifully put!  I feel that Drs are too often inclined to prescribe chemicals and apply labels rather than treat individuals and find cures
