Kabu
Great picture! The poor Aussies are sure getting it in the neck, what with floodings and typhoons, and I hear massive fires as well - I sure hope things will settle down, and that all your family is safe...

Your Granddaughter is blessed and a blessing..
The card rocks, Dear Kabu! How cool..:)  You know, I just realized something. It must seem odd to you to celebrate Christmas in the winter..and then I think how strange it would be for me to celebrate it in the summer. I guess we are creatures of location or season, but we can re-direct, adapt ourselves beautifully when our soul leads the way. Just some meandering thoughts, lol..

Love the picture, Kabu. And something to be said for the dear old UK after all. We don't get the extremes of weather - at least, not too often, and the bulbs are beginning to poke through. Our neighbour's crocuses are out, and there were snowdrops in the churchyard today.

I feel so sorry for Australia. They've had a hell of a summer so far.
I guess our miserable winter is the negative to the printed photo down under. Remember when there were cameras, rolls of film that became negatives, and printed copies? I guess there are some professionals using real film in this digital age, but I read lately that Kodak doesn't even make Kodachrome film any more.

lol, I like the way you say christmas is only ten months away

I guess you must like christmas much.

as for me I love the hot and I love the cold, but that is because I have escaped the snow forever. But if I had to put up with it, I would enjoy it as well, there is beauty in the snow, as for me, if I never see snow again it would be perfectly fine.

I think cold is better Kabu, it is job to keep[ excessive heat out of the house which reminds me I shall have to get my walls insulated It will be free I believe. I can never get a clear line by telephone perhaps there are too many signals around.

Kabu - you are becoming quite the 'graphiste'. Fun art-work, and don't you agree that all grandmothers are supposed to be putty in grandchildrens' hands!! (And we love every minute of it!)

I don't really like either extreme either or do well in either.  Supplements and tangelos seem to be helping me some down here.  I may have to change them some and rev them up in the winter; someday I will live somewhere better and not have the drafts and damps!
