what does linger in the meadow ChCh? When a life is so rich with much to share and remember --- oh this one just brought me down a path of memory, imagine that. Made me think of my dear mother in law, Sarah, (passed) and how when I called, I would add: I'm just around the corner ... which made her laugh. Miles and meadows between us but, I just felt like we were always just around the corner. Hmmm...I'm looking out over some lichen this morning forming under some oaks...and the green tufts are shooting yet underneath some piles of leaves, fallen. This has a lot of breath and movement in it, this writing ~ E.E.

...
by the way, I wouldn't pay too much attention o what the grasses whisper...."he hasn't long to go", could just as easily have been "He has a long time to grow"...grasses think they know everything, but they're quite often just full of wind....
