The Aussie catastrophe is overwhelming! I have watched some of the footage - I have never seen anything like it before! I'm so sorry for those poor people, and I certainly hope that this country and the rest of the world will do their utmost to come to Australia's aid...

BTW, I do like your driveway marker...

Horrifically tragic --- it is devestating.  I just talked with another Australian Angel today...Claire, my Sarah's friend of their family and all there.  In fact, oddly enough her fiancee is on board ship to Queensland for an oil or something venture?  I thought, hmmm...I wonder how in the world?  they are not due to arrive for another week or so...all in all ~ My heart is purely saddened by it all.  God bless them!  and the wind --- what it does blow in and out eh?  It was so ferociously cold and windy that I did not venture out today, until I absolutely HAD to.  Stay warm and I hope the PINK Lady does do better with Bro W-John's 'messing' around with it.   ~ oh I hope so...xoxo Connie Elyse

Thank you everyone for caring about Queensland ...it is a terrible disaster

but as bad as it is I remember Haiti and yes, the life of one person lost is too much but Pakistan lost thousands. It will take some years and it is already hurting the Australian economy, but we do have resources to survive and help each other and other countries have no hope of ever recovering or moving on from losing everything.

And I am writing this to you all on the pink monster so I am working on winning her heart over to me. Love you all.

I just saw the news yesterday about the flood in Australia
I have been having to keep up with closings at work so I have to watch the news.  We have had snow and ice.  I hope your family is safe.  Sending prayers of safety and love.  Your Gnomes have migrated to TN.  More on my blog.  Many Blessings.

Is it amazing how selflessly
so many will give of and up of themselves to help another.  While the overall story is so sad, it does give one hope for humanity after so much violence lately.
