Would love to see it.  I love watching the Insurance commercial about the peacable kingdom where all the enemy animals are friends, I don't know if they show that one in Canada.  So sad to hear of all the devastation of the floods.

Well you have a soft spot for snakes Kabu All right I won't try and spoil the illusion, It seems more floods everywhere, I suppose houses would have floated away in the past, we are lucky who never experience this tragedy.

Kabuiepie-;)
Quite an uplifting post darlin' of the frog hitching along on that snake. We humans aren't the only animals that can help our mates.

yes,
i believe the animals do help each other in times of need, once hubby and i saw two ants, helping another ant back that had lost one of its legs. they were helping it back to the nest, it was awesome, and i think it was awesome that you saw that little frog being helped by that snake,

A little Green frog saved by a Brown snake.
The floods in your home country are pretty bad, I pray that the rain stops and the river recedes soon.  Animals to help each other out in times of need, hence the little green frog and the Brown snake.

Dangerous situations make for unlikely bedfellows.

Yes animals do pull together. They do in bush fires and at other times its

always heart warming to see. Great little story about the frog. But there is a children's story about a fox and a ginger bread man and the gingerbread man trusts unwisely in the fox. It might also be the same for the frog and the snake, but I hope the frog made it :)

Animals are such mysterious creatures, aren't they Grandmummy?  I am more certain now than ever that they possess far more compassionate minds and souls than we humans give them credit for.  For more than we humans ourselves...

Oh dear - the packed lunch came to my mind too. I guess it's just my snake phobia....

I agree with Nita that animals are in many ways, a lot more
compassionate than humans...I'm sure other countries will offer help to Australia monetarily or even manually once all the repair work starts, but animals that usually are at enmity with each other just toss that all aside in times like this.....

Very unsettling
isn't it. We used to live alongside a river and I'm so pleased we're on higher ground now (nearly impossible in the Cambridgeshire Fens!)

Seeing the pictures of the floods on TV makes me so sad. I think sometimes animals are more compassionate than us!

here it is always the same places that get hit the worse and people keep rebuilding, if its not the floods its the fires or something else.  Yes its strange how some animals are just like us humans we have some predators and some kind people mixed in

I think there's an Aesop's Fable about a frog and a snake....horrible weather around the world....we're due for yet another couple of feet of snow here tonight into tomorrow.....Mal

is it kind hearted instinct by the fox and the snake, or a packed lunch?

My prayers are with all those effected by the extreme weather

I hope they both made it to safety. We need a sweet story about now...

This is a wonderful story, Kabu, and just proves that something good can come out of the most appalling events. I feel for those people who have lost their homes, and some have lost their loved ones too. Just terrible.

The floods are really devastating Kabu, even over here our northern region is beseeched with floods with 2 dead and 3000+ evacuees. A cute story amidst that.

Kabu
You have the biggest and most tender heart of anyone I am sure. You want to save any person or creature from pain and sorrow. I love you for that. Be blessed.
