HeHe! The thought of a secret admirer keeping Wiley on his toes, huh? It is so fun receiving flowers, especially when it's a surprise! Those cakes sound delicious - I'd have hid them away too, LOL!

The word gnome, makes me think of knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathers!
Kabu,
Marilyn's thug-boy son, probably pronounces the "g" in gnome AND the one in "comb," TOO! Maybe he's a gnome!

Yes I'm always afraid of being bashed by irate hubbies, that's why I am always so polite.

What a nice evening in all ways!! You have a good time in Camelot.

P.S.  Not to cast a bad note, but I just read in one of my health books that snowblowers can be extremely dangerous and that the emer. room has many severe injuries coming in from them.  I think you have made the right decision to cast it aside.

WOW,
Such fun and a sweet thing to do, the flowers. I loved the Lamingtons idea. First time I ever heard of them but thanks to Bel I ran and looked them up... The lady I am sure is glad she invited you to dinner, party or whatever. You are so brave driving around like you two do in all that snow. Hug yourself and your man for us....

Lamingtons
Lamingtons are very popular in Australia and consist of a small square (cube) of white cake (sponge, butter, or pound) that is dipped in a sweet chocolate icing (frosting) and then rolled in desiccated (unsweetened) coconut.

I did not know what a landline was until a couple years ago. When I first heard the term, I thought someone said the landmine was ringing...Gotta watch those gnomes!
