Re: The wind is blowing...

Thanks for your visits, Cheerygirl!  I'd love it if you would leave calling cards even when a comment is not happening--it is encouraging to know who drops by!  I sometimes can't think of a thing to say that has not been said by others, but will leave that card.  Sometimes, though, also, in some moods, read and run.

Lately I have been a way from here much, doing neither writing nor reading, it's a thing that moves in cycles...

The wind is blowing...
The wind is like that you sum it up well. I have popped in to visit your blog a lot of times Ciel but I don't leave a calling card. I did miss some of your entries in October and I thought I would look and I am glad I did because there was that one addressed to me. Thank you again. Don't think I don't read you because I don't leave a calling card because sometimes I read so very many blogs that I just read and run. Some of the people who come to me usually leave comments or calling cards and to those people I tend to leave a calling card or a comment. Your blog gift was a nice suprise and I am sorry I missed it for so long. If you had mentioned it I would have seen it. I love the pictures. Hope you had a great weekend. Merry Christmas.

Naut, there is something about this country that is all about the sailor,
the small-craft mariner who navigates by the heavens, by the colors of sea and sky, by the presence and absence of birds, of clouds--and is driven by the wind.

Ciel
I love your description of that wind! Even here in Southern Ontario we sometimes have strong summer winds that blow for days on end, although only from sunrise to sunset... And as  sailor one learns to pay attention to winds anyway...

I agree.  Wind and rain is such peaceful weather for sleeping.

I agree the wind excites me but it brings allergies and if it is too strong
out of control it brings distruction and death...but wind with rain will set me to sleep
