You know the Govt lines their pockets with silk?  That's so they can let the green all 'slide' in their cozy and simply.  They have no clue - or do they what all they require and demand of the peoples ... ah, I would grumble grumble grumble with you but instead, I will dust dutifully as you --- around my doggies (for the umpteenth time today) and smile with Music yes, and cheer no matter.  We have to keep on rockin' ~ xoxxo Elyse

Our government is already beastly about taxes but trying to get more out of us. Yes they want the last dollar so our President can spend it on some fantasy. I love the scene dancing with the doggies and the dust mop. Oh how I wish I had that energy to do those things again. That easily sounded like a good weeks work. Be blessed. How are your brother and son?

I hear you about the tax department and their shenanigans, well the Feds anyway. They've been a 'PITA' to Kabu and I about our taxes and have decided our marriage date isn't important. They have considered Kabu to be a Canadian and us married from her first date of entry even though we paid out hundreds in fees for 'Visa continuance, every 6 months' and then a much larger fee for Permanent Residence. Now they'll want more out of me too of course come next April.

I tend to put The Clash

WOW! I thought I was reading about my Government! I so tire of the red tape that is compartmentalized, I mean that sarcastically, I dislike like it when they can't get organized to route paperwork, every successful business knows it's that way, and everything is handled once along the path as it were! I have had to submit repeatedly and it is frustrating! So I give them a mental gesture, not the one yer thinkin' neither, lol, it's a peace sign! Or not! BUT SMILE, INDEED!

Now, down to brass tacks! I have been pouting in a way because I thought what the hell, throw a game in my mind to get those Habs slippers! My toes were smiling at that thought. Then I looked at the standings and such; it appears unlikely I'll be wearing them. The Habs have given up the fewest goal this year @ 52. The Wings are next along with Los Angeles @ 59. Edge to Price but not so fast: the Wings have scored 82 goals, Habs 68; ironically it is a difference of 14 and it is all about 7's. I believe Detroit will score 2 (twice the margin in scoring and less in goals given up puts it at 2-1; my math, it doesn't have to make sense; LMAO @ me) and the Habs 1. Their score will not come until the end of the game when they pull Price and go 6 on 5 with 1:17 to play! On my word, not another 7! Both teams are in the top 4 of the power rankings! The puck has been iced it's time for your thoughts! sam

The bureaucracy invariably brings out some of my worst qualities, and I have a few...

It's the same everywhere - government departments refining bureaucracy with taxpayers' money.

I have a client....
who was criminally charged because he parked his business truck in front of his house......not a civil charge.  As owner of the business he could not park his company vehicle at home.  However, his employees could park the same vans in front of their homes and it was no problemo!   He went to court without a lawyer!  When he arrived he noticed the prosecutor and the zoning inspector huddling and asked what's up.

His option immediately pay a $1500 fine or face 30 days.......

It's time to order the pitchforks!

You've given me an idea for today's blog. My mind was absolutely blank.
Bureaucracies... they're like Merry Go Rounds, and even if you've got a ticket, you have to find a way to get 'em to stop before you can get on. And then you don't really go anywhere.
