T-Zip, you are on your way to becoming a motivational writer, if not speaker. Good stuff!

Black Friday

I think it is an Americanism that was meant to help shops turn from the red to the black in their accounts. Red is in debt and black is ok ha ha. So they do some deals and hope it makes everyone who wouldn't normally buy a truck load of stuff suddenly turn into frenzied spend thrifts!

How about Deal Day or Discount Day?

Silver Friday, because it is sort of grey and cloudy  to have to contend with the crowds  and get up early, but if you have any extra money,  you can get some good deals. I had none this time, and a wierd day, but like your attitude adjustment ideas and have done right by my standards to invest in  something that might improve me instead of getting things that don't pertain to my going anywhere.   P.S. I don't think Silver Friday is very catchy, but it's all I could come up with.

Tzippy
Lots of positive thinking! As to Black Friday - maybe they call it that in hope of replacing the red ink with black...And here in Canada we don't even have a Black Friday - I don't know what that says about us...

What about recovery Friday because the country hopes this will help the
economy to chug along foranother year.......Does money really make the world go round?  I don't know ....maybe it does.....maybe it shouldn't.

Hmmm Tzippy - it is all about 'discipline' and re-winding or re-imprinting old tapes etc.  Yes, I like your positive affirmations.  Now, Black Friday --- hmmmm I think if we claimed it a Debtless Friday ---hmmm...counter ploy or psychology if you will ...  ~ Elyse (I like to stay at home and think of the holidays still ~ old nostalgic me. )
