I can identify with your comment about Twitter, that you have a hard time getting into it.  I have never tried Twitter, but I can say the same thing about Facebook.  I generally go a long time before checking up on Facebook.  This blogit format is so much better.  I don't know exactly how to explain it.  Maybe we're not putting on pretensions of being "friends."  Rather, we are two or three people who happen to share a passion to express ourselves in writing.

I love those beautiful layers of mountains with the pink in the sky above.  I tried twitter once--never did go back.  LOL

Awesome pictures! How cool to be in a bit part! At least you can say you did it! As far as the kid thing goes; you didn't do anything wrong they just do what they do! The tears will be for naught! By the way, they do catch on eventually! My son dropped out of college and at 28 he has no choice but to go back, too many jobs require a degree! E will find out the hard way and ten wish she had listened to you! I hear it nearly everyday form one or another of my kids! It will be okay once the dust settles so to speak! sam

Whatever else is going on, you are one fine photographer!! We want everything for our children; unfortunately it isn't always the same things they want for themselves. It's real hard on a parent's heart and mind. I guess the only thin we can do is continue to love and support them as they find their way.

KaBoom62

I felt so badly for you I could cry. Your pictures are always so wonderful. Having been a father of 5 children and a step-father to 4 more. Now I have 2 more step-children but they're already raised.

I would like to attempt some words of comfort perhaps, over your children. You asked; "Where did I go wrong?" You didn't go wrong, you are raising people, and that is a tough job, I know. You are doing your best.

May I suggest that you now 'mother' yourself some, and remind yourself that you raised one of your children to learn and understand the connection to work and her own survival.

I am certain your son also will find his way, how indeed could he not, he has a wonderfully creative and loving mother. His father must be a winner too, he picked you. God Bless you.Willey & Kabu

Kaboom
I really like those pictures - interesting transformations of the sky! And being an extra must have been fun, and I hope profitable, LOL. And I could also use the odd hot day, but I'm not very optimistic...
