Kabuski, so glad you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and day...certain Mr. Graysome is still purring and probably wondering why you're bringing the Gnomes inside.  I never thought that they would mind cold weather, so now I've got to wrangle up mine and keep em warm. in about a couple more months that is... Ah yes, the bulb season is upon us. I so wanted to employ the help of me gnomes but...since you tell of that Santa legend, hmmm...I guess I will offer them reprieve.  LOL ~ (thinking of all I want this year...).  Now, I just found more pics on the BL blog and must finish here so I can go look over more (ROTFLOL) some of those are just more than a hoot.  You enjoy your beautiful porch and your Love ~ Elyse

I would be exactly the same, having just got a garden after many years without I am happily taming the wilderness and preparing a sea of spring blooms

I hadn't thought about the adjustment. I have a friend that lived in California and she mentioned her year-round garden. To me, such a thing is hard to imagine. Having the four seasons like you do in Canada must be interesting to both observe and get used to. I do have to say, however, that I highly recommend the Fall. Autumn is such a pleasant time, and just made for cozying up around a fireplace, and cooking hearty stews. I can't fathom life without it. My favorite time of year, if you couldn't tell...

Well Kabu you seem to have plenty to talk about. I don't know what to say. Yes I am getting a light box to take better snaps. Right now I might have to show something different in winter, but I can't think what I have a few Dolls kicking around I don't like to throw them away I suppose they might fill a gap and a lot of little jugs which I used to collect. I expect I will think of something and I just remembered I've left two loads of washing outside about a hundred socks I would think and some have little bows on them because I bought them by mistake, I just hope it has not been raining. So thank you if you are still reading this for reminding me. Can I be a fan
