Yes I will do that. It made all the difference to me when I came on and was read by so many right off because someone was promoting new people. Thanks I'm in.

sam--I agree with you
I think blogit misleads people with their ad, but that seems to be the state of marketing which I find disturbing.  They make you think you will make money here.  I am here to connect with writers, to keep me writing, to keep up some interaction with people.  I initially hoped to make some money, but that pipe dream has dissipated.  I think it should be free and then they offer products and upgrades for their profit.  Other blog sites are free, but I joined this back in 2003 and hated to give up the people, but I may.  I did leave it for quite a while and recently came back.  I dont know if you know it, but I became friends with good ol' Wiley on here and my husband and I actually traveled to Canada just to meet him and had a great time.

I often read all sorts of posts in lots of areas...not all read back but if
I enjoy their post then I keep reading regardless...but a great challenge you put out to bloggers here.

I average 75 comments per day and have become exceedingly disenchanted with the lack of return reads! There are very people on this site I do not read, and those I don't read know exactly why I do not! But, I have been losing ground for a long time and unable to get the bills paid regarding this site! If it continues at it current pace I will beg off tis site for I do not do things that lose money for me! When I joined this site it said it was a read and be read site but it falls woefully short! Have a great day and sorry about the venting but I dislike wasting my time on people who will not waste their time on me so to speak! sam

A good idea... we can get too routine, too comfy, too unchallenged...
and the socializing can overtake the writer exploring.

Well P,E, I have visited quite a lot of blogs in the past and told the writers to communicate if they were not receiving any comments and not to put too many poems on at one time. No one has ever responded and some have placed as many as six poems on at one go. So I need a blood transfusion, well to be honest I think a couple came on stream. I was advised to do this by Sam when I first came on, I had the same idea just pop a poem on  and wait for comments. It does not work like that and many become disillusioned when a little stimulus would help to improve the quality of one's work. I'll do one and have the nose bleed.
