I've been ordained for years and will only perform
weddings. Usually just for close friends, etc... but this is my thought. If I was put in the position you have found yourself in then maybe there is a reason. You are not judging these people at a time when they are most vulnerable. What a gift you can be to them. It's not about the right words or rituals being perfect, it's about the intent and the spirit of that intent.
