I am thankful for my house sitting jobs. I have nice clients, both the animals and the people that they own. But some of my jobs are kinda a pain. It has been a rough year for everyone and my business is feeling it. I had a full calendar at the beginning of the year and over half of the dates have cancelled. Right now I'm not working as much as I was. I finally got my disability and so I'm not as desperate as I was. I'm enjoying my summer and I must say that doing nothing isn't all that bad. I have filed for disability. When I went to the doctor today he had a file full of paper work to fill out. It hit me then that I'm really doing this. My days of independence are over. Two weeks at my job that I have to drive 20 miles round trip is just too long. I'm glad that I have that one finished. I have a job for spring break.
