Not retirement, but my spouse might!
Oh, progess report: the door is mostly repainted, the base coat is on and now I'm doing the detailing. The baseboard: one piece was ok, the other split and will require recutting. The piece of wood for the hangers' hangers (a long story) is ready for mounting tomorrow, and the nice piece of wood for my room is done and hung.
I think (dream of) I'll just douse the tool chest in kerosene and burn that thirty year old paint off. If it wasn't metal I wouldn't bother. Of course, if it wasn't metal and I did that, it wouldn't matter anymore.
