Abanerjee: I have not been here for a while, but have returned to find that you are mourning the loss of one you cared deeply for. I am so sorry, my friend.
Please know that my thoughts are with you right now. The 'why' of things is often so hard to understand. Thank you for your heart-felt post, and for the realization that we are all temporary fixtures here....it makes me want to hold on to those around me a bit tighter. I credit you for this.

I cannot express my sympathy in the words that I would wish to send you. My heart is so sad for that mother as this news, of course, carries me back to the day my soon-to-be 23-year-old son died of cancer that could not be vanquished. My heart goes out to you, and to all who knew and loved him.

My heart goes out to you and his family. His poor mother. How horrible to lose a child, and one so young and with so much life ahead of him.
