Good post, FSI. I've never had more than one blog in here. I sometimes have difficulty just keeping up with that one. I'm like Kabu, and get caught up on the reading, then realize I have forgotten to keep time to write, LOL!

Yep, you've got it. Sometimes I wonder about the cost, now that I've got some readership elsewhere, on free sites that I use... Quite frankly, I stay for the regular comments on my posts, and because I've met some really terrific people via the Blogit site. But money is the bottom line, and if it ever gets tight. You're so dead-on, here.

Every word in this blog is true, a wise view of what blogit
has to offer and how it is utilized differently by different needs. Very well said.

FSI, I'm back to 5 blogs, but only 3 get used on a regular, close to daily
schedule...but the other 2 are there as well, and your post woke me up to making use of them, too, as much as time allows...

I'm on the old system where you could have as many blogs as you
want for one price.  That's what I do, but can't say I maintain them all.

I tried to save money last year when I kept only one blog, but didn't realize I was on the better plan, I had already deleted them before I knew that info

Yes. Good post
I used to have more than my one Blogit blog but simply didn't have the time to post regularly; I still struggle just with the one!

I USED TO HAVE TWO BLOGS.....BUT MOVED TO
EVERYTHING ELSE...WHERE I CAN WRITE ABOUT ANYTHING. I WOULD RATHER READ THAN WRITE TOO MANY BLOGS.

Well, I was lucky.
I am one of the veterans who was grandfathered into having several blogs without having to pay extra. I do, however, feel I need to delete a few since I rarely post in them anymore. I'm just waiting until I have time to copy and paste some of the posts into my files before nixing the blogs completely. Sure hope you stick around with us, though!

FSI

I used to write two blogs but found it too much. I became concerned a few times at the addiction of blogging and every now and then I quit just to prove I can.

Now I find writing one blog and having friends like your own good self is all I am here for really. The money is inconsequential really except for the ego I suppose. I can call myself a writer because I get paid for it no matter how trivial a sum.

I do hope you stay my friend, because we can all add something to one another's lives I think. This is a great post you've written and somehow I think you have a knack for getting something going, like inspiring other writer's, that could be your blog forever.

I have seen some with many blogs, but the entries are only on a few. Some just sit gathering dust

Hi FS Well I have three blogs but I feel when this session ends I shall just have one and just blog occasionally. I feel one becomes too involved in the need to keep writing and sometimes one has to just force oneself to write what may not be really up to standard. Also one becomes too involved in the feelings of others and one begins to understand and like everyone for what they are. This may sound contradictory, but I begin to like some people too much. One has to live in a semi dream world to write good poetry and as you may know most poets died young. In an ideal word one would write futuristic verse, But by now you are probably tired of what I say. I just wonder will you always want to write to people who are images in your mind or would you like to be tuned to a real live companion who would show you love and understanding, don't believe cruel images that form in the mind, it is not an unique problem. A woman told me her her son carries a photo of the first girl he loved and does not want any other. I don't mind a critical reply, I just write from instinct.

When I first started here back in 2005, if I remember I use to have
at least 4 blogs?  I kept them up pretty well.  I have three now but only use one.  As you said, time is a big issue with me.
