I have a friend that needs a baby fix from time to time, too! I think it is wonderful! I have a covered patio and I go out in a storm, too! I know it is crazy, but the view is incredible! sam

I was smiling in the rain this morning
and millions of Londoners probably thought I was the madman from East Anglia! Good post.

My father and grandfather always loved to watch a good thunderstorm. The patio in their house was where they saw many a wonderful storm...So great it is for you to see your son and grandchildren.

R If you’re going to be away from work associates do it coolly in the rain with a barbeque love. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

That's the idea, Pat-B. From hearing my employees talk about the residences where they go to work, I think it's time to bring back a little dignity for our elders, especially seeing that my turn will be coming up, LOL!

Your rest homes for the elderly sounds like a fantastic idea, and
a 180 degree change from the usual. A kind of Golden Girls situation where each had her own room and bath, and a living/dining room and kitchen in common would be the answer to a lot of the questions that face lonely older people. I hope it goes and you make good money at it.
