You are right about the tattoos.

"Jackass" comes to mind also.

I bet you a month of Starbucks he has an arrest record including fighting...unless he's all mouth, maybe henpecked at home?

Lots of tattoos and other threat displays?

Works for him, he gets what he wants by throwing tantrums. I hate polite society sometimes, he gets the same consideration as we who are civil.

Frightening puerile ignoramus majroj.  Do you know that in Ontario it is against the law to smoke in a car when there are children aboard.  This guy was going berserk about the fact that he had bought the car, and he had insured it and he had.....you get the picture, and he wasn't allowed to smoke and the child in the car was his child.  I'd hate to see him anywhere near a gun.

Disapparel?  I like it.  Can you help me here Mr Pedantic?  I met a young man on sunday who believes Canada is a Communist state; thinks that 2 Atomic bombs would solve Afghanistan's problems.  He had the hair on the back of my neck standing up before he even spoke.  What is the name for someone like that?  I keep coming back to 'terrorist' but it isn't that, it is......dammit.

dsm tchr, good for you!
Our street has a fair number of young people so these are probably their friends showing off their loud cars. I'm still puzzling about the middle-aged motorcyclist with the big speakers on his Harley Tugboat though...

God, I HATE those people
with the loud music and all you can hear (FROM YOUR LIVING ROOM) is BOOM BOOM BOOM. I can't even imagine being in that car. Why don't the police pull them over??? And those idiots with their underwear hanging out of their pants? Ugh. Yeah. They are upstanding citizens. How do I explain to my little kids why those morons don't pull up their pants when I'm trying to teach them to do so? I can't wait for that fad to GO AWAY! They look like such low class trash.

I live in the country, the outskirts of town...

and there is the one neighbor who imposes bass and music and stuff I barely concede is music, on us all...  Since the landlord had a talk with them... not the first, but finally effective, they have turned down the music.

So now everyday we are treated to a few firecrackers and leftover fireworks.  They have their pride after all.

Placating bullies is surely not the answer... but sometimes it can be hard to find the leverage to move them out of the way.  Harder still to contain our own resentment and anger, and try to be in a more mature state of mind than they are.

majroj, I live in the inner city, but it is very well controlled.    We don't have noise pollution around here anyway.
