In western states bulls become steers, & THEY're called "Mountain oysters!"
And in Finland, the lady Laplanders pride themselves on their ability and speedy talent to be able to castrate reindeer quickly, using only their TEETH! If a young female Laplander has lots of hair caught between her teeth, I guess that she is apparently a really good marriage candidate!
Never tasted anything even resembling this sort of a much talked about, taste treat, but I can understand the pioneer spirit of "Waste not, WANT not!" HA! HA! As has been said many times, "Different strokes for different folks!
