Congrats on buying the dogwood...Home Depot has become a sort of toy shop for me with the house and all.

Sounds like it is going to grow big, strong and beautiful Kabu. I did that once, walked past with this huge pile of stuff and knocked over some things off the shelf and really tried so hard to walk past without feeling the disgruntled eyes on me..but never works does it?

That's wonderful Grandmummy.  I love Dogwood trees.  Every time I see one, I think of Jesus and the terrible cross He bore for us all.  Enjoy your beautiful tree.

I bet that little tree will be the happiest tree in the county once it

takes root and settles in....

but don't you just hate that when you're in a store and they put everything on the shelves just so passersby with their hands full will knock things flying??....my favorite place to do that is in a library, where in the process of trying to get a book off the shelf, about half a dozen come tumbling out....

It's quite apparent that Wiley's place......
is suitable for many things to take root......now you have something to blossom with!

Kabu

It’s nice when you have the chance to do something beautiful with the special person that you find beautiful. It’s beautiful that it’s a person that grows with you love. BC-A, Bill’s Rst.

Just keep your house guest, the BL, away from that tree...she has
a tendency to chew on the bark and munch on Dogwood flowers with her big teef.

Dogwood is so well personified.

If nothing else, she'll have the companionship of chipmunks
and the occasional bird.

How nice KAbu... I am sure your little tree will take root in a hurry and give you wonderful flowers next Spring.  May you enjoy it together with Wiley in good health my friend :-)
