The kind of effort the ancient Hindus put in the realization of the self was absolutely mind- boggling and the truths they discovered is a proof of every word being true in the Gita.

sometimes where foodis concerned I need to be very controlled ...seriously......my body will demand food it doesn't need and I have to put my inner self beyond the temptation...not physically but spiritually. We are working towards eccepting nourishment that we need rather than what we want.
