My daughter and g'candies stay in touch with friends and family with it.....and that's a good thing.......I guess.  I have absolutely no desire, but I have such a love/hate relationship with all things related to technology.....I've sooooooo turned into a little ol' woman!!!!  Seriously, I don't see why emails with photo attachments sent to appropriate groups don't get the job done......but, what do I know.....

I check it out nearly everyday; my older grandchildren & cousins leave me little 'how-r-ya?' messages and photos. I don't encourage some of the people trying to contact me though - I just delete. Bet Tina felt like an idiot the next day...LOL!

I'm on there......
and I have a business page.....of the two only the business page has any merit.  Those people have too much time on their hands...what the heck is "Farmville"?

Hell use the time and go outside and grow something!

talk to... ever again. Like you dearest I am older, less tolerant of insincerity and I love blogit and I spend too much time as it is on the computer.

It is on the fringe of my daily internet experience.  I work desperately at keeping it at bay.  I fend it off much like a lion tamer does with a lion using a chair and a whip.  Just yesterday, someone I haven't seen since 1988 (and don't really want to see in 2010) showed up in my email inbox from Facebook, wanting to be my "friend".  I checked out her site (like a spy) and noted that she already had 368 friends there.  Why does she need me?

Pat
I won't go near it - and so far it hasn't dicovered me yet, LOL. Mind you, I have had people asking me..."Why aren't you...?" And depending on who's asking, my answers range from "No time for it!" to "F*** Off!"...
