I hope you can stay cool in the Hot weather. We have had unusually cool weather. It hasn't even gotten up to 100 and it's supposed to be in the 80's next week! Also... I had dropped my pink Sony phone that I had with AT&T so many times (last year) we have a new company now, but am still using my AT&T phone (with my go-phone chip in it) for an extra phone. It still works and is a great MP3 player!

As writers we have those days! I think it is wise to trust a gut reaction, one is rarely sorry for it! sam

FSI.....
The more I think about it......they only time I regretted deleting a post was when I didn't do it intentionally......that happens way too many times.....

I've done that before--and I've never regretted it even though I might have spent a lot of time working on it.

Nothing wrong with that....
There's been  many a time that I've written something, usually in response to someone else and decided to delete....I was able to vent with just the process of getting it out of my system!  LOL

that gut instinct is like a caution sign or a stop sign we'd better heed...
whatever we thought we'd post might need tweaking or just laid aside for a later day...I think that gut instinct is closely related to our conscience (or perhaps it outright is our conscience)....

Follow your instincts. I think all of us need a break occasionally.

I'm a big believer in the gut instinct as well. That gut feeling is very real.

FS It the writers nightmare one writes something halfhearted and think its rubbish, sometimes folk don't even notice or are too kind to criticize. I think the great thing is once one thinks that's brilliant, one will never try to do better. If as a gentleman once told me about a famous poet two of his poems were out of this world, but the rest were banal. So it should give we scribblers hope. Good luck
