Sometimes I think you're just as daft as I am, Whacky. A good way to make sure Bo doesn't dig up the banana peel is to feed the banana to Bo. Bury his next pooh around the rose bush. The rose might smell like sh**, but I'll bet Bo won't dig it up!!!

LOL!!! Whacky, how fun and wow, your mini rose bush is beautiful.
I have a mini rose bush in my little backyard, I think I'll try that. Hopefully Meeka won't dig it up.

Why not add the banana peels to your compost
and then work the compost into the soil around the backyard roses?

I am like you I would try anything at least once and I some roses that might like a banana or two
as far as Bo I cant help I will just hope ours dont dig mine up

I never heard of such a thing before. Fascinating.
I'm not a banana person as far as eating them. Would it work if I bought a banana and just burried the whole thing amongst the roots? About your doggie, what if you just cut the banana peel up into a whole lot of little pieces and mixed with the dirt. Would he still dig it up?

Whacky, SEVERAL possible comments came to mind, NONE were acceptable!
I am not the kind of person that makes assumptions based upon flimsy or NO evidence, completely without proof, or who looks down my nose at someone, solely over the vaguely negative feelings that I personally have, about someone. Many times, my first impression about someone, has been wrong. What I am uncomfortably tiptoeing around, is that I do not care who my friends, neighbors, co-workers, family, and heroes, sleep with, worship, marry, vacation with, etc. etc. None of my business, period. In some cases, I suspect that I would prefer NOT to know private things, that are likely to make me uncomfortable forever afterward, just because I KNOW. Too much information! Like the guy who was told that under NO circumstances, should he look at someone's left eye, or some such nonsense. It became all the guy could think about, just due to the power of suggestion.
Anyway what I am trying to say is, I do NOT approve of inter-flora genetic, mongrelization, cross-pollination, genetic mixing, perversion of Mendel's genetic laws. BANANA PEELS forced to crossbreed, indeed CO-MINGLE intimate, chromosomal juices with ROSES?!!! Next thing you know, somewhere an edible, fragrant, beautiful, wholesome, multicolored, naturally incect resistant, extremely valuable and unimaginablly profitab.........Uh, never mind. Forget that I even said anything. Pipe dreams! Heh heh!
