The purchase of a home is bar none one of the most exciting things you'll ever do. It's the American Dream. Congratulations on your upcoming residence. Make it yours.

Re: good choice, what about finishing schoo?
I will still be finishing school. I have only one course to take, so I will be able to work full-time without any hitch. I'll be busy, but I can handle it. I admire people people who work multiple jobs and juggle those with their own children. I have it easy.

I am happy for you. You will still be close to your parents, so that is nice. It also sounds like a house that will work you.

Oh, how exciting!
It sounds like it will be perfect for you.

Good morning,

I can relate.  I am also in the midst of deciding if this is the best time for me to be independent and leave the nest.

I love the way that your family is so close, both physical location and in matters of the heart, and work together to get things done right.  All families are not that way.

Good for you.......
Owning your own home is an important part for your financial stability later on in life.....(As long as you don't behave like many "Generation Me" people and use your increasing  equity as a giant charge card for keeping up with others!)
