Perhaps politicians should barter ideas, no money involved?  Nah, never work. Laid off Lobbyists can get ugly.

great ideas
I do think the term "markeplace of ideas" could do us some good; markets are generally thought of as "arenas" where people interact. They currently pander to money. What if they pandered, instead, to ideas?

they want to use terms like "income re-distribution”
Modern day  Dems see everything as dollar-signs anyway.  this Blog was on the money.

Its sort of like going to a small town meeting to make a decision that
would be in the best interest of the town. Only to find out that it didnt matter what the people of the town thought - if you agree with DOT, then they were going to do it anyway, but if you did agree, then it looked like it was the decision of the town. Its just an example of Politics... thats why I dont get involved anymore.

My mother-in-law is a landed immigrant in Castlegar B.C.  We just went up there for Thanks Giving.  Of course in Canada it was just Thursday EH?
