Mama told me when I was a child
that every nation that ever oppressed the Jews has failed and crumbled. I don't know if this is 100% true, but it does happen. To me, it's the hate and suspicion that eats away at nations and people, no matter who their target is.
I agree with Elyse's comment that your story needs to be a book, a movie script, a historical record if nothing else.
