Thank you, all of you for the support...and I guess the most important
is that we have learned a lesson...no more internet shopping for us using aa credit card and we have to be less trusting and really check everything out. That would be all of us. You are such great friends.

This is something one must be extremely careful of. Never committing anything before a thorough research. We are working on a way to stop this through Future Mobile Applications training; it may take a year for the software to come to the market. Until the, be alert.

I pray you get rid of them soon and get at least, most of your money back. The BBB is good for a lot of these scamsters. I got lazy on the last one, but collected on a previous one that had no concern at all about my statements until the BBB contacted them.

GRRRRRRRRRRR! Boy, these people p*ss me off! So sorry that you got taken. As has already been suggested by others: your quickest way of dealing with this may well be to a) report your credit card stolen and b) to close your account, early on Monday...

I am so sad to hear that it happen to you. as everyone had said
I too had been ripped off with internet scam very recently. Also on friday night, etc etc. what I found in the end, i called the 24 hour a day 7 day a week theft hotline and cancelled that card told them it was stolen, that way the charges on that account were safe, after that you need to continue doing what you are doing. Everyone is duped at some point or other
I suppose the rule is that nothing that looks very simple is usually that simple. Have you run a few google searches on the group? You won't be alone. Do all you can in cancelling and seeking redress but don't let it invade every thought or affect blood pressure, especially the latter. It's not worth it.

Oh my gawd Kabu I am so sorry darling... as the others said it happens all too often but if I were you I would cancell the card used and call all others you have and change the numbers... warn the bank and PRAY, pray that it will go away with the minimal amount of damage. It seems to be so easy to fall for a scam. There are so many out there committing fraud. I hope you can make it right. And if you can't, I hope you didn't/don't lose more than you can bear.

Oh wow, so sorry to hear this, Dear Kabu!
I know someone who responded to a similar ad - they ended up closing their bank account and canceling their credit card. They didn't lose much money by the time all was said and done, but Lordy the hassle involved. There seems to be little to no regulation, law, etc. as far as Internet advertising is concerned. And even when a scam is obvious, you have to fight like crazy to defend yourself..I know you and WileyFriend can and shall overcome; just batten down the hatches and hold on - Thoughts, prayers and hugs for you both!
