I agree totally. Our sun comes out sometimes, but still feels cold to me. Can't wait for summer.

After a winter like the one we had in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan Area I appreciate the sun more than ever!

I think that I'm also susceptible to Seasonal Affective Disorder, Chrisket.
When Marilyn and I first became a couple, I had an indoor grow room. The whirring motors, pumps, light balasts, etc. all made noises and piqued her curiosity, so she asked me what was going on in the locked room. I took a chance and unlocked the door. Inside that room, it was bright, warm, smelled like a cross between pine trees, lilacs, and was as humid as a jungle. This was the cold short days of early winter, and right there indoors, we had a magical, fragrant, summer wonderland. We would sit there among the green, growing things for an hour or two each day talking, and it really picked up our sagging spirits. It's the extra time spent in the bright light, that does the trick. Mostly.

Even the sunshine through the window can be cheery even if it was cold
outside today. Like you I sat here and focused and wrote nonsense....that's me writing nonsense...not you our Cricket.
