I love it when mistakes turn in to the best of situations! It is as though you knew something but not what it was by leaving the keys in the vehicle! How wonderful that you and your dad are such a great support for Ann! sam

I've found that many times when something happens to delay me on a trip or locking my keys in my car... there is a reason for it. It all is in the way we look at it and we find that God is in control of all, even when we feel we messed up. I'm glad it worked out well for you and you could spend time with your sister.

Isn't it great weh mistakes work out for the best? I've locked my keys in the car before now. Very scary, sinking feeling!

I've done that, of course, twice in fact.
I guess two times in over seventy years isn't too bad.  LOL

I locked myself out of rental units I was managing not once but twice last year. As I am going through expenses, I see nearly $100 in locksmith fees. Bummer.

what a great incident you caused.  Sometimes I think that we follow our higher Wesires with the help of 'angels' that disrupt our plans.  More than once I've had a similar experience, which amounts to loosening up my deathgrip on the 'controls' of direction in my life.  I think your Dad deserves a hug for being a great guy.

FSI
Lighten up on yourself, life is tough enough without you making it worse for yourself. Good that you went on a drive with sis and got her laughing. Now get yourself laughing a lot...

Moral of the story: Whatever happens happens for the best.

FSI - You really are too hard on yourself. Mistakes like this do happen and leaving keys in the car happens every 10 seconds all over the world..lol. You are a great brother too. No experience with locking myself out of the car(touch wood!) but don't even ask me how many times I have locked myself out of my office!!.Take care.
