We met 3 people who had lymes disease. One man wasn't correctly diagnosed for years. I think he got better. Another friend of ours' son got it. He was a teen and started acting like he was 2 years old. He finally got better, with treatment. His dad had it really bad too. He finally got better after a year or so of treatment.

Lyme's disease is a horrible thing. Comes from rats, doesn't it?

That is very sad that he got lyme disease! I hope the treatment works for him! The rent seems to be a big problem, I think he might be better served to find a more reasonable rent! sam

That's too bad about Nathan. My BIL had it, but they caught it early--when he had the bright red bullseye symptom--and a series of antibiotics seemed to do the trick. He hasn't had trouble with it for years and he is even older than I.

It's always troubling to see old aquaintences get ill and fall on tough times - apart from feeling sorry for them, it's a reminder it could happen to us...
