You're right - they're stories better than any soap opera. It fills me with hope that they were such a rum lot and not above huge deceit to get one over on each other, but God still used them in his great plan for mankind. Hope for all of us!

That is soooo true. We get back what we give out. I have to remind myself of that when I feel people have dealt unfairly with me....what have I done to provoke that, if anything? There's usually something, even if it's only a small item. Yep. We reap what we sow, all right.

I remember when I first read that story how taken I was, but then the additional 7 years was so difficult to comprehend but magnificent nonetheless! Excellent post! sam
