I think you will listen to your heart. If you really liked her, then you might break the rules and date someone who works with you, but since this is not the case you have nothing to worry about. I also believe you will be kind to her and not rude if you need to turn her down for the invitation to the historical re-enactment.

Doesn't sound as though she's right for you anyway. Is there really no softness behind her teasing? If not, she doesn't sound like a particularly sensitive person.

Probably good to avoid dating her under the circumstances. By what you written it sounds as though she's not exactly your cup of tea anyway.

I think you're on the right track of keeping personal amourous relationships on the job at arm's length my friend.....

Wow, FSI...I just went over a journal of mine from several years ago, where I was considering dating someone that I knew would be a complication for me. I, to my surprise, had even listed all of the problems that were sure to arise. I ignored my gut feelings and dated that person, anyway...and it played out EXACTLY like I wrote that it would...except for that much more and then some. I wish I'd listened to my own wisdom. Sounds like you are pretty wise, yourself.

I agree completely! Workplace dating is always a bad idea, in fact a very bad idea! Of course it happens a lot, and I know of a few cases that let to huge problems...I think you are definitely on the right tack here...Of course, if you were interested in Brianna, you could always have her fired first...

Mmm...always with good intentions and you stand by what you believe in...I feel a little sorry for her though. She probably knows what she a great guy she let slip..

I agree totally, NEVER DATE ANYONE IN THE WORK PLACE
It always leads to trouble, even if you really liked her, it would still not be a good idea.

you know what they say about opposites attrack, but I guess in this case it doesnt work.  But I agree workplace romance can have a way of backfiring on you

Her sense of humor is always going to irk you, so I think you have made the best decisions for yourself! I doubt she means to be offensive but I can see how the zipper thing would turn someone off! You must be a bit on the thin side! I couldn't agree with you more on the workplace dating, it can end up badly! In her case with the dry humor as it were she might end up being unmerciful!

Regarding the BCS, it is a terrible system and I have been an opponent of it since its inception! The annual revenue that is generated from the TV contracts will make it almost impossible to change! Even the President has voiced his disapproval over the system. The big schools who are so heavily favored by the current system will fight tooth and nail with the BCS in my humble opinion to avoid a change! Still, we have a very good team in Boise but much to the chagrin of the community we are not national contenders at this point. This town is used to winning but we have not played enough of the big schools to make a fair evaluation of how far this program has come along. They have a great attitude and that is to win the games on their schedule! sam
