Terrible that people would do that to one another. There are just things that some in the human race do that I do not understand.

Re: Troosha
Agreed Troosha! The people that discriminate may well miss out on valuable experiences and relationships.

I remember a few years ago, a beach in America who banned people who were too fat. Said it would spoil the look of all the other young, nubile bodies. I think they had to rescind it, though. Public opinion was outraged.

Oh for 'vanity's sake' --- simply stew for controversy that link.  awww to see a soul through eyes that only love is the honey of life- and honey fattens the depth of flavor . Sad, some people are flagrantly superficial. I will have a good day and I send good wishes back to you ~ Elyse

I am just mistified by those who waste their time and energy putting others down... Sadly usually is just their attempt to subconciously  even the field, since they feel deep inside they are less than others and therefore need to bring others down to the level they believe themselves to be in.  Fat, skinny, who cares... diversity is what makes our world beautiful... and healthy is what we should be concerned with...   Be well  xoxoxo

How sad and unnecessary, Elinjo..
And people wonder why kids can be so cruel and troubled. The importance of respecting an individual for who they are within is too easily forgotten.

I think there will always be people who dislike those who are over-weight.  I'm not one of them and it makes no sense at all because if you dismiss someone simply because of their shape, size, colour, etc. you miss out on the uniqueness of another human being.  Why "short list" our life experiences?

I have always had a weight problem and have always had a problem dating and being made fun of, but I have known some real skinny people who arent very nice and I have known skinny people who have worse health issues than I do.  Some skinny people are way to skinny as far as I am concerened.  My son has always liked the bigger woman, dont you know we have big boobs.  And people can put fake pictures on those sites anyway, why would you expose yourself to more torture by putting a overweight picture if you know you will be picked on.

I just muse; the 'gorgeous' on that site will get old one day and their beauty will be fleeting! But the real beauty comes from within! I think it is important to take care of one's karma and those folks who have a standard that is physical just delude themselves in my humble opinion! Have a great day and I agree this is not a thing that should be happening. Shelly

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder Betty I agree..it's totally disgusting when they discriminate  full bodied heavy individuals..they can be considered voluptuous even the women I mean. thanks so much for stopping by my blog and I voted for you and I think it is an interesting site. I will also "publish" a book there..lol. Will let you know.Take care. You are so regal looking - a beauty!

Re: 'She's too fat for me'
I searched YouTube for appropriate videos, but gave up because I could  only find discriminatory ones. Thanks for commenting Taps - have a good day.

Such has always been so.  I was taught as a child to not be prejudiced against anyone different including "fat" people.  I hadn't heard the word "obese" at that time.  And yet, there was always that Frankie Yankovic "Too Fat Polka" that made my parents get up and dance and laugh...

I don't want her, you can have her,
she's to fat for me
oh she's too fat for me
oh she's too fat for me...etc.
