I don't think we have that kind of car washes where I live. Probably not even in the larger cities. We usually wash our own cars, so if we lived there wouldn't help your business much .
But, if we did live there, I would go to yours!

I'm so impressed with the idea behind the operation of this whole business...wow...I would have never thought as I sit there in the bay (the one that I drive through) of all these things -but, now I will. I'm impressed because it's a big responsibility and wow, my eyes are wide open to all that must be done to keep it all flowing. I hope it all goes well for you this 'cold' season and that your business just grows and grows.

That was a very well written description of the perils that can be faced in the carwash business. I keep chamois in my car, and as soon as I exit a car wash up north here I quickly park and get out and take any excess water off the car door frames before it freezes. I wonder how useful you may find it to have a steam jenny inside a car wash, to de-ice the roll up doors in an emergency

Interesting, all the things that go on there and must be considered! I usually don't get my car washed when it's really cold (such as it's been for the last while here) since as soon as I get out of the wash the remaining water freezes the doors shut and I can't get out of my car...

I dont think we would have those problems, but I dont know. It seems to me that you are a very smart business woman, i said it before and I say it again. Good luck , plan well and SUCCEED!!

Not looking forward
to defrosting the car in the morning I must say. Could do with some of that chemical treatment I think. The car is already white and frozen solid...

you talk about things I would never thought of being here in CA, but maybe car washes have other problems here, and I dont think I ever saw a 24 hour car wash, is that what you are saying you have?
