How often we all ignore - knocks - tapping - beating at our doors ~ This is powerful - great writing again, Aba --- I am enjoying your poetry --- it is so wonderful to watch you gain your momentum --- its a joy to watch your metamorphisis.  ~ Elyse says Write On!!!

Well written; we leave the door unopened in all facets when we do not hear the knocking at the door! I like that you are experimenting with various avenues enroute to finding your own style and voice! I know I am going to enjoying observing your development! sam

More than age, it cn happen in any stage. God, the guest comes avisiting but goes back seeing our doors closed.

Open heart, open mind, "open door" - so much would be missed if we closed any of them.  Nicely done!

love your poems
you got me with unopened door, I am searching for a title all day today and keep coming up with nothing. Unopened door is a great title, the poem is well centered on the moment, well said and yes, I had to read it twice :) and loved it each time

Two, three reads to get to the heart of the poem is really satisfying for a writer with thoughts for the reader to unearth., but that you did, for this I thank you from the botom of my heart. Thank you sir.

Abanerjee, a greatly moving poem...it took me two or three reads, but by
then I was thinking, man, so true indeed...we let opportunities slip away, and life slips away at the same time...(sorry, trying not to be too melodramatic here..:)......

yes make us beat ourselves with a big stick for not always feeding the
stranger, for not always sharing our good fortune and wealth. LOL this is actually very very special and yes thought provoking. A lost opportunity may never come again.
