....What....? FANS? ....All RIGHT!!! Wait till I tell the kids; they'll never believe it. They are on the other end of the spectrum..."What, HER again?" They can't find enough ways to avoid me...probably because I'm always giving them various and sundry tasks....that could be it....! But a FAN I could use! Thanks!

Please have one of those teriyaki chicken wraps for me...or a flatbread sandwich! I love those! Yes, I hadn't seen you for a bit, so you must know that you were missed. I understand about the projects; I'm supposed to be finishing an Art History Architectural Analysis paper at this very moment. Just needed a break. Best of luck to you with all of your endeavors. Christmas break will be my 'catch up' time...I'm anxious to go back and read some of my favorite writer's blogs....I will be visiting one of my favorite literary guru's (your's) of course. Be well, abanerjee!

Yep, we had wind like that while we were up there. It was a balmy eight degrees, with winds that nearly knocked us over. However, the feeling of festivity perservered...we had a really good time; although we didn't do as much walking about out of doors as we'd planned....the temp nipped that in the bud.

I've never been to Jackson Hole, but I've been to other parts.  The wind can be so strong and it gets cold there! The only blizzards I've been in were in Wyoming and Utah.  A different type of place.

Elyse!
Okay I will. I need to figure out how to load them onto Blogit and then I will post some photos. And I wore those gloves today; so did my daughter. And so did Vanda. She texted me from her town on the other side of the state to tell me it was freezing cold today and the bunnies kept her toasty. A magnificent find!!! Who would've ever thought I'd go back to that store and actually make a PURCHASE??? This life is too funny; it truly is!

LOL, I feel like a young gal again reading this Darson ~ how utterly fun - how fantastic of a find as well - bunny wabbits and their fur is meant as sheep to warm us up ~ I did not know you lived so close to Jackson Hole ~ absolutely the love of my life scenic sight.  As you know it all bears such a beautiful memory to me... but I never found a sale such as this - you enjoy those bunny wabbit findings ~  get a pic ~ xoxox Elyse

I know; I wondered if there would be those that would think it was contrived...but I'd honestly forgotten that memory until just a few days ago. I'd been planning to visit relatives a couple of hours from there, and we were all going to head south to a hot springs, until someone suggested we see Jackson Hole. Of course I jumped at the chance, thinking of my episode there. Then I had to explain why I was laughing like a hyena when Jackson Hole was mentioned. Life is so funny sometimes! I couldn't make this stuff up!....so, I may just as well record it....!

...You must've been to the Cowboy Bar or the Million Dollar Bar? I think we saw those while we were up there. It was rather rustic. A lot of it reminded me of Ketchum (Sun Valley) where they'll mix an antler chandelier with French Country decor. Sounds weird but somehow it works. I guess that Driggs and the Jackson Hole area are hot spots for the elite now. Years ago we just went there for something to do. Decent skiing and a fun alpine slide. And yes, talk about convenient timing! I'd just written about the place a couple of days before. I am never EVER in that area. The last time was three years ago, and that was over 100 miles away...closest I've gotten. Just a fluke, I guess...couldn't have planned it any better.

I like the play on words with the title...That's funny about how you tell us in your blog about that story, and then you end up going there...Looks like you have closure now.

That's putting a memory in its place...
Somehow when I think of Jackson Hole I don't think of an elegant fur salon... I think of a western bar with antlers on the wall and a bartender in a blue chambray shirt and jeans, wearing a leather vest, cowboy hats on the coatrack.
