Not to be a smart-ass about it or anything, but have you heard the saying that only the good die young? heh! heh! heh!

Pat
I often wonder why I've had an extra 20 or 25 years over a friend or loved one.

I'd much rather be in this small place
during this financial crisis, and while all the newspapers are shedding staff. My friends in the city are looking at me with envy.
There's a big issue of unemployment here. Always has been but I knew that before I came back which is why I try to be diverse.
Some things have changed. The house i live is on land that was farm fields when I was a girl. The beach is as lovely as it ever was.

A lovely post. As a kid I longed to live in a town where there seemed to be
more to do. Now I have come full circle, living on this little sanctuary for animals and a damaged old couple who adore each other and I am so thrilled to have come full circle.
