It is good that the tellers don't seem worried.  I do hope Wendy is ok though.  I know I would probably be one of the shook up ones....

I'm glad no one was physically hurt, although it sounds as though Wendy is suffering. Horrible and terrifying experience for her.

I'm sure Wendy is just rattled and needs a break! It has to be an awful situation! I adore your concern for the tellers, it speaks volumes of the type of person you are! So proud of you, too! sam

FSI - I'm sure there would be some anguish on the part of the tellers. I think it's nerve-wrecking to be caught in a robbery..but I like the way you are considerate about their feelings.

Somehow this post reminds me of Al Pacino's Dog Day Afternoon

Glad you weren't caught in the robbery!

Being robbed seems to be a fairly common occupational hazard for bank employees. Not much fun at all.

that would be hard to act nonchalant with that going on

I'm glad you weren't in the bank when it was robbed.  Years ago a friend of mine was, and the bank customers were made to lie face down on the floor with a gun pointing at them while the second robber dealt with the teller.  It was quite traumatic for him.

You feel secure in good standing. Overall crime does cause an uncomfortable environment.  BC-A, Bill’s RJJst
